亞太計(jì)量項(xiàng)目名為“國(guó)家計(jì)量研究院的分組(NMIs)亞太地區(qū)從事提供和改進(jìn)地區(qū)的計(jì)量測(cè)試能力，通過(guò)分享經(jīng)驗(yàn)和交流技術(shù)來(lái)實(shí)現(xiàn)推動(dòng)亞太地區(qū)計(jì)量技術(shù)和能力的發(fā)展。

 2014 APMP (Asia Pacific Metrology Programme) General Assembly, Symposium and related meetings will be held in Daejeon, Korea, where KRISS campus is at in September of 2014. (Exact dates and venue to be confirmed)
The Asia Pacific Metrology Programme (APMP) is a grouping of national metrology institutes (NMIs) from the Asia-Pacific region engaged in improving regional metrological capability through the sharing of expertise and exchange of technical services among Member laboratories. 
APMP is also a Regional Metrology Organization (RMO) recognized by the International Committee for Weights and Measures (CIPM) for the purpose of worldwide mutual recognition of measurement standards and of calibration and measurement certificates.
As one of the most active members APMP, three KRISS experts were appointed as new TC (Technical Committee) Chairs in 2012 APMP General Assembly, and Dr. Myung Soo Kim, past president of KRISS, will serve as the member of EC (Executive Committee) a year more.
